Malta Part 1

The time in Malta was so short that I had to devise it into three parts. So, after 29 years, I was back I'm Malta. Ready to meet relatives that I had known of for many years but never meet. It was nice to arrive into an airport with family to meet me for a change. Auntie Elizabeth and Uncle Joseph had arrived to take me to their home for the first 3 nights and Auntie Vivian was also there to say hi.

In the evening, after a short sleep, the family gathered for a meal at Auntie Dorathy's and Uncle Charles's home where most of the family gathered. It was strange to be amongst so many people whom I had never meet before.

It was a nice and pleasant few days at the house with coffee in the morning and excursions during the day. It was good to also have the opportunity to catch up with most of the family during these first few days Excursions to Gozo, Mdina, to homes of family members, Uncle Eric and and to Auntie Dorathy's home) to the famous "Crystal Palace" and lots and lots of Kinnie, (got to get more of this) A trip up to Roland's farm was fantastic during one evening. Roland being one of the two who have ventured to Australia (the other being Rudolph) and so, one of the family who I remember very well. These were the highlights of these first four days. A day spent at the beach Bernard and Rudulph was also very welcome as the Malta summer was very hot.
