Greece continued

So, you more than likely have read about the angry Greek who was clearly having a bad day. Well after being inundated with emails and requests to give the full story, here it is. So, Trudy and I land in sunny Athens and make our way to the hotel that she was to be staying at over night. (I was staying at the airport) so we think "we could get a train" this was our first mistake for unbeknown to us, there is a very secretive society amongst the transport workers of Athens. It is a no information policy in which a question is looked upon as an insult. A slander even an attack on the very fabric that makes a Greek Greek. The first encounter with this secret society came before we had even left the airport and so left the traveling duo with a false belief that people were welcoming of others to their lands. The hotel manager was helpful enough and after some directions we made our way to the train station, to our destiny. So, let me paint the picture... Before you stands Borat but without a mustache. It has been a hot day. Nick (as we have called him) sees two happy, enthusiastic Australians approach. "This will not do" said Nick to himself. "Could I have one single and one return to Acropolis please." I said. Now, to you or I, this would be a simple understandable, non confrontational question. Nick thought otherwise.
Nick: "You want four"
Friendly traveller: "No, just one single and one............"
Nick: "You want 4 or 2 make up your mind."
At this stage Trudy the brave stepped in and said something, I don't remember what, but it had the most amazing affect on Nick. He didn't know what to do anymore. First he took all the tickets back, then threw them at us through the window yelling some strange incantations at us.
Nick: "Use 90 min use all day" and similar stuff to this.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, our friendly travellers were able to make a quick get away with a few well placed comments back at our angry Greek, for our friendly travellers knew that Nick was stuck in his little box and would be unlikely to be following our escaping heroes.
The End
